Company Description Growing Together Behavioral Center is a nonprofit organization serving children, teens, and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. The center emphasizes individualized care, designing tailored education and therapy plans to meet each person’s unique needs. In 2025, Growing Together delivered over 80,000 hours of education and behavior therapy across multiple programs, supporting families from five surrounding counties. Demand for services continues to grow, with a substantial waiting list and new families reaching out daily. In response, the organization is expanding efforts to support the broader neurodiverse community in the Jacksonville area. Role Description The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a full-time, on-site role located in Metro Jacksonville. The BCBA will conduct functional behavior assessments, develop individualized behavior intervention plans, and oversee the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children, teens, and young adults. Daily responsibilities include supervising and training behavior technicians, monitoring data, adjusting treatment plans based on progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, person-centered services. The BCBA will also provide parent and caregiver education, participate in team meetings, and contribute to program development that supports the neurodiverse community. Documentation, adherence to ethical guidelines, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and funding requirements are essential parts of this role. Qualifications Strong foundation in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, including assessment, program design, and data-based decision-making. Knowledge of Psychology and Behavior Management principles to support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Experience in Parent Education, including coaching caregivers on behavior support strategies and collaborative communication. Current BCBA certification and eligibility to practice in Florida, with adherence to BACB ethical and professional standards. Previous experience working in clinical, educational, or community settings with neurodiverse individuals, preferably children, teens, and young adults. Ability to lead, mentor, and train behavior technicians and other team members in evidence-based practices. Strong observational, documentation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in collecting and interpreting behavior data. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, and non-discriminatory practices.
