About the Position

License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications required. TNCC certification preferred. Must-Have: Recent emergency room experience, either permanent or travel. Must work every other holiday. Background checks will be reviewed; no pending cases or license hits allowed. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Room. This position involves working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in emergency nursing. Recent emergency room experience is mandatory, and travel experience will be accepted. Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required prior to submission. A TNCC certification is preferred. Nurses will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores required. Candidates will have two attempts to pass these assessments. This position requires compliance with nicotine-free policies and a negative drug screen. All references must come from a manager, supervisor, or director in the emergency nursing specialty, and should not exceed 12 months from prior assignments. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning. Modules will be billed for a maximum of 4 hours annually, with additional hours not billable. Overall, this role is pivotal in providing care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
