Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location/Work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You are a healer and a helper, adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. You are adaptable to the needs of the patient and find joy in the variety of the work and the settings. You collaborate with peers and make referrals when necessary to ensure patients receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice as required.
