Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and media personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, office spaces, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Report observed hazards, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management in accordance with established procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
