Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Pensacola, FL. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of litigation experience and be admitted to practice in Florida. They will handle various civil litigation matters, including construction, real estate, and professional liability cases. Duties Draft pleadings and related documents for state and federal litigation and arbitration. Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions. Manage litigation strategy from inception through discovery and trial. Advise clients on legal risks and compliance in litigation and commercial transactions. Prepare for and attend mediation, negotiating resolutions of legal disputes. Requirements 1-5 years of litigation experience. Experience with case and document management applications such as Everlaw is preferred. High level of detail-orientation and exceptional research, writing, and proofreading skills. Working knowledge of state and federal litigation processes, including trial procedures, discovery, and document production. Ability to work professionally with the court, other attorneys, and opposing counsel. Education Law degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
