As a Construction Manager in Central Valley (Bakersfield/Visalia), you will too.We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. We’ll rely on you to provide support to our Cal Water Construction Management team on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table. Here's what you'll need Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.5+ years of experience in construction/management/inspection for projects with a background in Water/WasteWater. Knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements. Knowledge of California Building CodesAble and willing to work flexible hours to support the Project needs.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programsIdeally, you’ll also have:Ability to communicate with all levels of management within JacobsSelf-driven time management and organizational skillsHave or are working towards an engineer-in-training (EIT) certificationHave or are working toward a certified construction manager (CCM) certification#WestPMCM#LI-CS1Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
