Chambersburg Animal Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Assistant to our growing practice. We are seeking someone with a strong desire to learn and adapt, a positive attitude, and a genuine love for animals and their care.

What You'll Do


As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in providing exceptional care to our patients while supporting our veterinarians and technicians. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with patient care and restraint during examinations and procedures
• Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining hospital equipment
• Assisting with laboratory samples, radiographs, and treatments as directed
• Communicating professionally and compassionately with clients
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital

• Previous veterinary or animal care experience is preferred but not required-we are happy to train the right candidate.

Schedule


This position may include daytime, evening, and occasional Saturday shifts. Scheduling details will be discussed during the interview process.
