TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Alexandria, Virginia, 22304!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting. License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. NIHSS preferred and required upon hire during orientation. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Description: Experience caring for diverse patient populations and adapting to multiple clinical environments is strongly preferred. Patient ratios typically range from 1:4 to 1:6, depending on unit acuity. Scheduling includes every other weekend and rotating holidays (evening and day of holiday). Nurses are notified before each shift regarding their unit assignment and are expected to participate in the unit safety huddle and standard workflows. Assignments may include any adult Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit, emergency department holding, or intermediate care, caring for Med/Surg-Tele level patients. Occasional mid-shift reassignments may occur based on operational needs. The patient population includes adult patients with a broad range of diagnoses, including general medical-surgical, telemetry, neurology, stroke, orthopedics/trauma, elective joint and spine procedures, skeletal traction, and external fixation.
