Ideally, you bring a purpose-driven approach to your work as a Maintenance Professional to serve as an essential connector for our delivery operations. In this role, you aren't just maintaining and optimizing equipment; you are an essential partner ensuring the safe and efficient transport of critical products.Precision technical excellence: Expertly maintain, repair, and overhaul diesel tractors and specialized systems to ensure all equipment meets DOT standards and safety protocols.Strategic problem solving: Implement creative solutions to ensure smooth equipment flow and translate maintenance reports into impactful service strategies.Collaborative prevention & safety: Partner with the team to communicate technical needs clearly while cultivating a "Safety First" environment focused on proactive maintenance.Required qualifications:We are looking for 1+ year of automotive maintenance/mechanical experienceExperience with a variety of basic hand, power tools and equipment.Ideally, you bring your own basic hand tools.Knowledgeable in gasoline engine mechanics and preventative maintenance.Valid Driver's License (non CDL).Preferred qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience.Familiarity or interest in cryogenics.Familiarity or interest in hydraulics.Class A CDL with HazMat; DOT brake certification is a plus (Not Required).BenefitsWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
