Looking for a full-time Speech Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in the Rockaway Park NY. We are offering competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefit package.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide quality SLP services, including evaluating patients, screening, initiating referrals, obtaining data and follow through with plan of care.
- Completes timely documentation including progress notes, screen reports, daily notes, and discharge summaries.
- Knowledgeable in short term and long term SLP care.
- Instruct patients as well as family members and staff in goals, progress, and appropriate therapeutic techniques.
- Ensures compliance with protocols and regulations.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid NYS License & certificate of clinical competency
- Preferred knowledge of Rehab Optima
- Experience with cognitive and dysphagia rehabilitation within a skilled nursing facility.
