Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in close collaboration with surgeons to develop and implement patient-centered surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding preoperative and postoperative care, including administering medications, providing wound care, and facilitating discharge planning and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Active BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
