Service Sales Rep - Fire Protection Systems

Relapath is currently seeking Service Sales Representatives who have excellent communication and relationship-building skills and would like to pursue a career in life safety and security solutions! This is an excellent direct-hire opportunity based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Our client offers an excellent salary and benefits package – including base + uncapped commission!

Previous B2B or B2C sales experience would be helpful, but it is not required. FULL TRAINING PROVIDED.
Requires excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn CRM systems.
Travel: Up to 20%

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively connect with new and existing customers through calls and in-person visits to build strong relationships, introduce companies recurring service offerings, and educate businesses on life safety and security solutions.
Develop and manage a sales pipeline, taking prospects from initial conversation to signed contract.
Deliver professional, in-person presentations and proposals to business decision-makers.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff for service implementation and customer satisfaction.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all calls, meetings, and opportunities in the CRM system.
Participate in weekly sales training to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

No industry experience required – we provide full training
2+ years of experience in B2B or B2C sales preferred, but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and driven to exceed goals.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn CRM software.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Performance Metrics:

Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently meet or exceed key metrics:

25 outbound calls per day to generate new business opportunities.
25 in-person business visits per week to build relationships and present services.
$500,000 annual RMR quota (set and reviewed each calendar year).
Maintain accurate data entry and updates in CRM daily.
Attend weekly training sessions to strengthen sales and industry knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits:

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100-150k annually (base + uncapped commission)
