Key responsibilities include: Looking after Specimen Reception and leading a team of Medical Laboratory Assistants. Participating in laboratory testing procedures acrossHaematology,Biochemistry,Point of Care Testing,Rapid COVID-19 Testing, andBlood Transfusionif required. Providing technical support to scientific staff within the Blood Sciences Department. Working collaboratively to ensure efficient and accurate processing of samples. Priority will be given to colleagues identified as at risk through the Trust’s redeployment process.
