Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial Territory Salesperson to focus on developing new business within the commercial HVAC market. This is a true business development position where success is driven by prospecting, relationship building, and closing new accounts. You'll introduce maintenance programs that create recurring revenue while uncovering opportunities for repairs, system upgrades, and capital replacement projects. This position offers significant earning potential along with a clearly defined path into sales leadership as the commercial team continues to expand. Develop relationships with property managers, facility managers, business owners, schools, municipalities, and other commercial clients. Promote preventive maintenance agreements that establish long-term customer relationships. Identify opportunities for equipment replacements, retrofit projects, and system upgrades. Conduct onsite evaluations to assess HVAC equipment and customer needs. Prepare accurate proposals and present customized solutions to prospective clients. Collaborate with service technicians and operations teams to develop project recommendations. Maintain detailed sales activity, opportunities, and forecasts within the company's CRM platform. Transition newly secured accounts to internal account management while continuing to expand new business opportunities. Consistently achieve revenue, pipeline, and activity goals established by leadership. Qualifications Minimum of three years of outside sales experience within commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, or building services. Proven success generating new business and consistently exceeding sales goals. Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and equipment, including rooftop units, split systems, VRF, ductless, and ventilation systems. Experience selling preventative maintenance or service agreements. Ability to identify customer needs and recommend value-driven HVAC solutions. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Experience using CRM software to manage pipelines and sales activities; ServiceTitan experience is a plus. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the Greater Boston and North Shore territories. Existing relationships within the commercial real estate, facilities management, or property management industries are highly desirable.
