Description

American Traveler is hiring a MS/Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift float pool position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• Float pool position covering MS/Tele and Med/Surg units across four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
• Night shift, 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Works 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Must be willing to float between departments and the four listed facilities
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• 2+ years of recent RN experience required
• Any scrub color accepted
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provides direct patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in care planning and delivery
• Delegates patient care priorities and supervises assigned personnel as needed
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local travelers will not be considered
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
