retail pharmacy environment. We are seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Registered Pharmacist to join

our growing team in the Bronx, NY.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Registered Pharmacist is responsible for

ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing of medications while delivering exceptional patient

care and customer service. We are looking for a motivated team player who works collaboratively,

communicates professionally, and is interested in growing with the company long term. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and compliance with New York State and Federal
• regulations
• Dispense medications safely and accurately while maintaining proper documentation
• Provide patient counseling, medication education, and wellness support
• Monitor patient medication profiles for interactions, allergies, and therapeutic appropriateness
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, infection control procedures, and inventory standards
• Communicate professionally with patients, healthcare providers, vendors, and team members
• Supervise and support Pharmacy Assistants and pharmacy staff as needed
• Assist with workflow management, inventory oversight, and daily pharmacy operations
• Participate in store initiatives, promotions, and patient engagement activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment
• Uphold all company policies, customer service standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy or PharmD)
• Active New York State Pharmacist license in good standing
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Prior experience with Micro Merchant (PrimeRx) BestRx or comparable retail pharmacy management
• systems required
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Knowledge of medication compounding and aseptic technique preferred
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-volume environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items over 30 pounds when necessary

Language Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English is required
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is preferred

Flexible scheduling available

May include weekends and holidays

Pay Range

$65–$70 per hour based on qualifications, experience, licensure, and schedule.
