Step into a dynamic full-time role making a difference in the lives of pediatric students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This on-site position is located near Covington, LA, and welcomes both local professionals and those seeking travel opportunities. You'll work closely with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to help children achieve their communication goals and reach their fullest potential in an educational setting.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid and active state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) accepted
  • Experience with pediatrics in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to school environments
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions for personalized student plans
  • Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions tailored to each student’s needs
