Senior Specialist, Accounting - Controlship

Responsibilities Perform accounting for ALCS within the Carrier organization Support the month end closing & reporting processes to ensure accuracy of financial reporting Complete timely account reconciliations and ensure their quality complies with Carrier standards Provide accounting support to finance and field operation teams Maintain accounting standard work documentation of system processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge continuity Prepare financial data for corporate reporting Maintain a strong internal controls environment Participate in finance and digital (DT) projects, offering support for system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements Special ad-hoc projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics 4+ years’ experience in Financial Accounting Demonstrated knowledge and application of accounting principles and internal control procedures Strong Microsoft Excel skills Knowledge of and experience with percentage of completion accounting Strong communication skills with the ability to present recommendations effectively to management Excellent excel skills Attention to detail and timeliness; ability to deliver a quality work product on time Strong initiative, drive, motivation, curiosity Adaptable/Self starter Experience with tools that automate processes and support accounting and reporting functions Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work cross-functionally to solve business process issues #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
