Adapts procedures to each patient’s medical situation, obtaining necessary information for proper interpretation. Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Calculates information accurately. Follows through with all details to ensure a smooth and timely flow of procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to function independently with little or no supervision. [Required] Must be able to read, write legibly, perform basic mathematics skills, and speak conversational English. [Required] Must be able to communicate effectively. [Required] Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. [Required] Must be registered in the appropriate modality. [Preferred] Pediatric echocardiography experience strongly preferred. [Preferred] Performance of standard adult echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram, and stress echocardiogram. [Required] Education: Associate's [Required] Field of Study: Graduate of a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program Required Work Experience: 2+ experience in adult echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography and stress echocardiography. [Required] Pediatric echocardiography experience strongly preferred [Preferred] Pediatric proficiency within 1 year of hire [Required] Licenses and Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) [Required] OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required]OR Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements - Pay Range: $28.68 - $53.35 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
