Job Requisition ID #26WD100897Position OverviewAutodesk is hiring a Product Manager to join the Profile team. Profile is the trusted, unified view of the Autodesk customer. It brings together what customers tell us, how they use our products, and what we understand about their needs, and makes it available to teams across Autodesk and to external developers through one consistent set of APIs on Autodesk Platform Services. As the definitive source of truth about the customer, Profile powers the personalized, intelligent, and AI-driven experiences across every Autodesk product and platform.Profile delivers this today through two complementary services: a real-time service for products that need customer context instantly, and a data store that powers analytics and AI.On this foundation, the team continues to extend Profile's reach: adding new types of customer information, onboarding more systems that publish their data automatically, and deepening Profile's role as the authoritative home for customer data.As a Product Manager on the team, you will own the vision and roadmap for this work, partner with engineering to deliver it, and balance the needs of many users, including our website and product teams, AI assistants, data scientists and analysts, external developers, and the partner teams that supply Profile's data. We are looking for a technically fluent, collaborative product manager who leads through influence, enjoys the detail of how data and systems connect, and understands that personalization and AI are only as good as the information behind them.ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute the roadmap for expanding the customer viewPartner with engineering to advance the automated pathway that lets systems across Autodesk publish their data into ProfileStrengthen Profile as the authoritative home for customer data, keeping the real-time and analytics views consistentServe real-time, analytics, and AI consumers, including assistants and agents, defining what each can expect for freshness, speed, and reliabilityBe the main point of contact for the teams that use Profile and supply its data, championing its value and making it easy to adoptExpand Profile into high-impact new uses, from personalization to fraud and riskTreat privacy and compliance as core product requirements, partnering closely with our security, legal, and trust teamsUse data to demonstrate Profile's impact, reporting the measures that matter most, from adoption and reliability to business outcomesCommunicate clear product requirements and drive delivery with the teamKeep stakeholders informed on status, risks, and changes across launches and deprecationsBe the go-to expert and advocate for Profile, keeping documentation current and supporting the teams that build on itMinimum Qualifications4+ years in product management, including technical products such as APIs, platform services, data products, or developer toolsProven ability to set direction and rally cross-functional teams through influence rather than formal authoritySkilled at stakeholder management, communicating early, anticipating needs, and building alignment with peers and senior leadershipStrong customer empathy, turning research and insights into product decisions that address real user needsStrategic thinking that connects customer problems to product strategy, business outcomes, and clear KPIsDisciplined prioritization, balancing the competing needs of many consumers behind a single, coherent productTechnical depth to read an API specification, reason about data structure, freshness, latency, and scale, and earn the trust of senior engineersA compelling communicator and storyteller who drives adoption by customers and internal teamsFluency in product discovery, validating value, usability, feasibility, and business risk with qualitative and quantitative methodsA track record of leading delivery end to end and driving successful launch and adoptionA data-driven approach, instrumenting products and turning data into decisionsPreferred QualificationsExperience building customer data platforms, a unified customer view, or systems that manage identity, entitlements, or master dataExperience managing a public or developer-facing API, including API design, versioning, deprecation, and developer experienceExperience with data technologies such as Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, or GraphQL, and with streaming or event-driven dataExperience shipping products built on personal data, including consent, privacy, and regional data-residency requirementsExperience with personalization or recommendations, or building products consumed by AI assistants and agentsExperience driving adoption across a large product portfolio, where success depends on persuading many independent teamsFamiliarity with Autodesk Platform Services or comparable developer platformsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $128,000 and $228,690. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
