Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn nursing care
• Perform postpartum assessments for mothers and infants
• Support labor & delivery care as needed
• Educate patients and families on newborn care and recovery
• Monitor and evaluate treatment plans and patient progress
• Administer medications and therapies per provider orders
• Document all care in accordance with hospital standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
• Float to other units if required (within scope)
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed

✅ Requirements

• ✔️ Active Montana RN License (or compact eligibility)
• ✔️ Minimum 1+ year RN experience (L&D / Mom Baby preferred)
• ✔️ ASN required , BSN preferred
• ✔️ Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • NRP (Required for newborn care)
  • PALS (preferred/if applicable)
• ✔️ Strong patient education and family-centered care skills
