Cath Lab Technician

Under the general direction of the physician, assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensure procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitor par level of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Assist in the training of new staff. Support all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Previous experience in a cardiovascular lab or interventional radiology department is required. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred. Proficient computer skills are required.
