This role is responsible for supervising material handlers, ensuring on-time customer shipments, maintaining inventory control, and supporting plant efficiency and cost objectives in a high-volume manufacturing environment.What You'll DoSupervise material handlers supporting shipping, receiving, and production operationsEnsure customer shipment windows and on-time delivery requirements are consistently metCoordinate with production and planning teams to meet daily schedules and material needsManage staffing levels and overtime to align with production demands and budgetOversee shipping documentation including bills of lading and manual shippersSupport inventory control, material flow improvements, and cost-saving initiativesEnsure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements (e.g., TS/IATF standards)Lead employee performance management, training, and developmentCoordinate special projects including layout, packaging, and process improvementsWho You AreHigh school diploma required; associate degree preferred3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably automotiveExperience in logistics, shipping, and inventory controlKnowledge of JIT/ISP systems and customer shipping requirementsStrong computer skills (ERP or Trans4M preferred)Ability to lead teams and drive accountabilityStrong attention to detail and follow-throughHealth, Safety, Physical & Travel RequirementsAbility to work in office and manufacturing plant environmentsNormal sitting, standing, and mobility throughout facilityExposure to plant conditions and potential spill response situationsUp to 5% travel requiredValid driver's license requiredLife at EmotivWe believe great work happens when people feel valued, supported, and connected.
