FSQA Manager

Utah or California (relocation assistance provided) We are seeking an experienced Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager to lead the FSQA function for a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This position will oversee the plant’s food safety, quality, sanitation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement programs while developing and leading a strong FSQA team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a team of 6–15 FSQA employees across multiple shifts Manage food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory programs Ensure compliance with USDA/FDA regulations, GFSI standards, and customer requirements Maintain HACCP and Food Safety Plans Lead USDA, customer, and third-party audits Monitor sanitation performance and partner with Operations to drive improvements Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions Investigate customer complaints and implement solutions Analyze quality data and identify opportunities for improvement Support new products, equipment installations, plant trials, and commercialization Oversee microbiological and analytical testing Maintain plant-wide FSQA training programs Build a strong culture of food safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications: 10+ years of food safety/quality experience preferred USDA-FSIS regulated food manufacturing experience required Previous FSQA leadership experience Meat experience required (Beef, Pork or Poultry) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required #J-18808-Ljbffr Alpha Executive Search
