Description General Responsibilities Delivers exceptional experience to customers and prospects with a focus on meeting the financial needs of all areas of our community. Counsels clients, providing needs-based financial solutions. Actively seeks opportunities to expand relationships. Capable of supporting clients in-person or virtually. Responsible for working as an active member of the branch office sales/service team and providing support related to the day-to-day branch operational activities and financial services of the Bank. Essential Duties Performs various duties relating to the Branch as follows: Successful Completion of One Bank/One Team/One Brand discipline of collaboration and teamwork in order to achieve bank objectives. Processes various customer transactions (checks, deposits, withdrawals, payments, money orders, cashier’s checks, cash advances, wires, etc.) efficiently, accurately and compliantly. Balances cash drawer, night deposits, and balances and services the ATM. Assists with vault-related and ancillary operational duties. Well-practiced in policy and procedure and keeps up-to-date on banking regulation changes to ensure compliance in order to protect customer and Bank assets at all times. Maintains working knowledge of Bank’s consumer deposit and loan product offerings as well as business deposit and cash management services. Provides exemplary customer service, fielding questions concerning deposit account and loan activity, fees, etc. Uses available resources to research more complicated matters, ensuring client concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Engages and advises customers in person and/or virtually in order to attract, retain, and grow relationships. Assists clients with deposit account and ancillary service selections in line with their needs, opening them in a timely manner. Counsels clients on consumer financing options. Processes and closes consumer loans. Demonstrates and educates our customer base on our technology products and services. Collaborates with internal partners to connect customers to experts who can help them with specialized financial services including Wealth Management, Cash Management, and Merchant Processing. Able to act as a banking ambassador out in the community by jointly attending events, tabling, and educating the public on matters of financial literacy and the bank’s products and services. Ancillary Duties Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances. Requirements Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or General Banking Diploma preferred. Training in customer service, polite and effective communication practices, and relationship building and management needed. Skill(s): Must demonstrate ability to communicate across various channels (face-to-face, email, video conference, text/chat, social media); good interpersonal relationship skills; strong problem solving skills; possess a sound knowledge of branch transactional tasks and operations; be conversant in consumer and business financial products and services; solid consumer lending skills; proficient in use of various types of technology and software.
