Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd Shift Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, and a commitment to quality and safety. salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintain production equipment including fillers, tablet presses, encapsulators, conveyors, labelers, and packaging systems.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately within the CMMS.
• Support equipment changeovers and production startup activities.
• Ensure equipment operates in compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Validation teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs) as needed.
