Your day to day as a Activities Assistant As an Activities Assistant at Heritage of Twin Creeks, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading a variety of engaging activities tailored to the interests and needs of our residents. Each day, you will interact with residents to foster relationships and encourage participation in programs ranging from arts and crafts to physical exercise sessions. You'll assist in setting up and breaking down events, ensuring all materials are prepared and accessible. Collaborating with your team, you'll monitor resident participation and gather feedback to continually improve offerings. Additionally, record-keeping for attendance and resident engagement will be part of your routine, allowing the team to evaluate program effectiveness. Your role will require a positive attitude, creativity, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of seniors. What we're looking for in a Activities Assistant To excel as an Activities Assistant at Heritage of Twin Creeks, a strong foundation of essential skills is crucial. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with previous experience in senior living, recreation, or hospitality highly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary as you will engage with residents compassionately, fostering connections that enhance their daily lives. Creativity and energy are vital for designing and leading enjoyable activities that resonate with seniors. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional organizational skills to effectively manage multiple programs and schedules. Additionally, a flexible, team-oriented attitude is essential, as you will be collaborating with fellow staff and working weekends to ensure our residents have a vibrant and enriching experience.
