Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Summary Recruits top quality candidates for hiring managers throughout the organization. Manages the recruitment process to include screening, interviewing, skills assessment, and candidate evaluation. Builds strong relationships with hiring managers to influence and guide the recruitment process. Coordinates the talent acquisition process, posts requisitions, screens candidates, schedules interviews, advises on offer parameters and creates offers. Maintains applicant tracking system in accordance with department procedures and government compliance requirements. What you will do Manages the recruitment process for a functional area, working with the hiring manager on new and replacement requisitions. Maintains ATS to ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements. Prepares offer letters and may present an offer to candidates. Manages workload using process metrics and KPIs (Time to Fill, Quality of Hire, Manager Feedback, Candidate Feedback, etc.). Maintains recruitment metrics including position control list, time‑to‑fill statistics, turnover reporting. Provides guidance to the hiring manager throughout the process. Confirms specific needs/requirements and sets expectations for difficulty of search and offer parameters. Develops recruitment strategy to drive applications. Utilizes sourcing platforms to find passive candidates and provides input to social media campaigns or posts as needed. Creates interview guides and evaluation tools for hiring teams. Evaluates resumes and applicants, screens candidates using defined recruitment methods. Conducts applicant screening interviews to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, salary requirements, and provide information about GFS and positions. Coordinates and schedules interviews and debriefs with interview teams. Participates on project teams as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. When you will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Hybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home. What you’ll bring to the table Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of recruiting, customer service, or sales experience, or if no degree, 5+ years of recruiting, customer service, or sales experience with demonstrated business acumen. SPHR or PHR certification desirable. Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
