Job Full Description

Job Responsibilities : Facilitate organizational maintenance tasks - (100%)

Utilizing the Work Order tool and input from supervisor Manager, determine facility maintenance issues, and organize priorities.
Conduct work in a safe and appropriate manner.
Work with lead warehouse staff, Facilities Maintenance Manager, and Operations Manager at each branch to ensure facilities and equipment are maintained in acceptable working order.
Work with Facilities Manager to decide appropriate vendors and negotiate costs and obtain written estimates when applicable.
Ensure all powered tool equipment is kept in good working order and accounted for, with operating instructions, and provide training for staff.
Adhere to all food safety regulations.
Ensure all hazardous materials are kept in appropriate storage and any relevant SDS documentation is retrieved and filed appropriately.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school/GED required, Post high school education strongly preferred. Must have strong mechanical aptitude/skills.
A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a facility specialist or maintenance technician in both warehouse and office settings.
Must have at least one year of experience working in one of the following disciplines: plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical Strongly prefer certifications/licenses in one of the following disciplines: plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
Must have a valid NC Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Must have or be able to obtain a forklift certification.
Must be able to operate a scissor lift.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
