The Structural Engineer III will work as part of the Engineering team to perform engineering design, calculations, and support for the company. This individual will take a lead design role on the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural design, analysis, detailing, and engineering support for seismic bracing and anchorage of electrical/MEP systems, construction means-and-methods supports (as required), and prefabricated/modular assemblies (skids, racks, equipment frames, E-House/modular electrical room components).
• Partner closely with the engineering, prefabrication/modular construction teams, project management, and field leadership to deliver safe, code-compliant, fabrication-ready solutions that accelerate installation and reduce risk.

Software to be used will include:

• Revit (with various Revit plug-ins)
• Bluebeam Revu
• Plan Grid
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Office Applications

Qualifications

Education

• BAS in Engineering from ABET accredited University preferred.

Required

• 5 – 10 years of experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Professional Engineering certification is required.

Preferred

• Data Center experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency
• Must be able to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

• This position may require travel to out-of-state jobsites and occasional overnight trips.
