We are currently looking to hire an amazing team member to help serve our club members with excellence across our 11 locations in the Puget Sound, Lake Washington, and Lake Union. The position is fast paced, fun, and incredibly dynamic, with pay starting at $20 per hour. In addition to interacting with our members, you will have the opportunity to develop your administrative excellence as you answer calls and respond to emails, and much more, at this full-time position (with benefits that include an employee boating membership)! QUALIFICATIONS/RESPONSIBILITES: High school diploma or GED equivalent Must be at least 18 years old Administrative experience preferred Professional demeanor and attitude Familiarity with office organization techniques Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task Excellent communication and time-management skills Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Business Suite/Familiar with MacBook (or willingness/enthusiasm to learn all these things) Boating experience or love for boating is a plus Have a personal mobile device for company communication apps (Slack, ADP, etc.) Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity Highly effective communication skills and friendly customer service are required Must be a self-starter and capable of working without direct supervision High attention to detail Maintain a clean work area Always operate with an emphasis on member hospitality Adhere to all safety and general company policies Maintain a cooperative, team attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees Respond to member calls and emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate dock/department Assist with the maintenance of the reservation system (front and back end) among other proprietary and ancillary systems Compile data and prepare reports, as well as other various emergent tasks Assist members and staff with all reservation system questions, questions regarding club policy, and general tech help Freedom Boat Club Core Values We consistently endeavor to foster positive professional growth based on a strong set of core values: Teamwork Trustworthy We have 7 locations on the Puget Sound throughout Washington, plus 4 locations on Lake Washington and Lake Union!
