Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to post procedures. Support daily operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and interacting professionally with patients, visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as needed. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Hospital vaccines are required. This position may involve working in a hospital morgue environment. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
