As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to guests and tenants. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.20 / Hour Job Schedule Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and/or potential concerns. Assist with access and crowd flow monitoring during busy periods, special events, and/or closing procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for visitors and staff. Communicate with store personnel, property representatives, and/or local responders as needed regarding security-related matters, hazards, and incident updates. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
