Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Austin, TX 78721

Pay Rate: $33/hour

Contract Duration: Minimum 3 months

Schedule: Monday–Friday

7:30 AM–4:30 PM, or
8:30 AM–5:30 PM
No 12-hour shifts available

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to provide technical and clerical support in a healthcare/pharmacy setting. The role will involve medication preparation, inventory management, medication delivery, inspections, and other pharmacy-related duties.

Responsibilities

Manage pharmacy and medication inventory.
Prepare medications for pharmacist verification.
Deliver medications to patient care areas.
Conduct medication area inspections.
Perform technical and clerical pharmacy support duties.
Assist with manual and automated medication repackaging.
Follow applicable facility, state, and regulatory policies and professional standards.
Maintain accurate documentation and records.
Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy .
Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work.
Ability to maintain active Texas Pharmacy Technician registration throughout the assignment.
Pyxis MedStation experience preferred.
Medication room inspection experience preferred.
Manual and automated medication repackaging experience preferred.
