ReceptionistAvista Senior Living Joshua Springs in Bullhead City, AZ is looking to add an exceptional, responsible RECEPTIONIST to our Front Desk team at of our beautiful community. This position would be either FULL TIME or PART TIME, WEEKEND SHIFTS AVAILABLE.The receptionist is responsible for facilitating resident and guest enjoyment by providing information and assistance in response to a wide variety of requests. We are searching for an outstanding individuals with excellent customer service skills. You must be able to multi-task and love to work in a "fast-paced" and "positive" work environment. This vibrant receptionists will be focused on customer service and one who truly enjoys interacting with seniors. Please be responsible/dependable, goal-driven and an autonomous self-starter with an entrepreneurial passion and drive to reach the pinnacle of success.Duties & Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer serviceAnswer telephones, direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional mannerEffectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mailMaintain a safe and secure environment, follow established safety standardsEncourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departmentsKeep front lobby area and front desk clean and organized; etc.Direct emergency personnel to emergency location and be contact person in case of emergencyDocument in the logbook any significant incidentsMaintain visitor sign in/out book, reservation book for guest rooms, and completes maintenance work ordersQualifications:One (1) year job related experience preferred in senior living communities (Preferred)Positive and engagingPassion for serving othersBeing willing to be a first "great impression" for all those who enter the community through friendliness and customer service.Experience with dementia care preferred.Ability to handle multiple prioritiesPossess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentationsCompetent in organizational, time management skillsFood handlers, first aide, and CPR certified (Or within first 3 months of employment)Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skillsAbility to make responsible choices and decisions and act in a resident's best interestProficiency in basic computer systems and design program to help design community flyers and eventsAbility to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following community procedures and guidelines and have the ability to follow through on assigned tasksDemonstration of proficiency in computer skills
