ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Provide food and beverage service in dining room Serve residents and guests in A la Carte, full-service atmosphere with attention to detail and hospitality Models a service and solutions-oriented attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better Friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers Ensure resident/patient, visitor, self and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards Maintain good attendance record; arrive to work timely and conform to scheduled work hours Wear appropriate and assigned protective gear, i.e. apron, hair net, mask Ability to follow opening and closing procedures including workstations Clean and/or pull dishes from dish room to dining area Complete daily cleaning according to schedule or Supervisor's instructions Assists with any special events as assignedReset tables to specifications with clean pressed linen Fold and sort silverware and napkins for dining room Set-up hot buffet/salad bar/desserts/beverages/service side stations and take temperatures of food before service, clean appropriately at the end of service Assumes other responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or GED 6 months - 1 year in A la Carte & Food Service Industry experience required Experience in customer service, is preferred Food Handlers card preferred but not required Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English Ability to be patient and gracious with residents #J-18808-Ljbffr Presbyterian Village North
