Scrum Master III

Job Summary Our client, a leading airline company, is seeking a Scrum Master III to join their team! This position is located in Houston, TX. Contract Details Contract type and duration: Contract, 19 weeks Contract dates: 10/19/2026 - 02/27/2027 Onsite, hybrid or remote expectations: Onsite Core Responsibilities Manage and support 2-3 Scrum teams to ensure effective Agile delivery Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Support teams in adopting Scrum practices aligned with the 2020 Scrum Guide Apply Scaled Agile principles to support collaboration across multiple teams Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support project delivery Identify and help remove impediments affecting team productivity and delivery Support Agile teams working with offshore resources through flexible scheduling Promote continuous improvement, transparency, and effective team collaboration Ensure alignment with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and practices Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Experience working as a Scrum Master with strong knowledge of the 2020 Scrum Guide Hands-on experience with Scaled Agile frameworks and methodologies Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes Experience managing or supporting 2-3 Scrum teams simultaneously Ability to work flexible schedules, including 6 AM-3 PM or 7 AM-4 PM, to support offshore teams Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum ceremonies, and team facilitation Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Experience working in the airline or aviation industry Experience supporting large-scale Agile environments Familiarity with cross-functional and distributed teams Experience identifying and removing team impediments Experience with Agile delivery metrics and continuous improvement practices Key Competencies & Behaviors Strong leadership and team facilitation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple Scrum teams and priorities Strong understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices Adaptability to flexible working schedules Proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution Commitment to continuous improvement and team success Work Environment Location: Houston, TX Onsite, Hybrid or Remote: Onsite Preferred working hours: 6 AM-3 PM or 7 AM-4 PM Flexible schedule required to support offshore teams Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $35.00 and $50.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
