Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician
Express Employment Professionals – South Oklahoma City is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in South OKC to add skilled fabricators. This is an evaluation-to-hire, long-term opportunity for candidates seeking stable employment and a hands-on role.
A day in the shopYou gear up, review the day’s blueprints, and set up the press brake, shear, and CNC equipment. You measure twice, cut once, and form sheet metal with accuracy. As parts come together, you assemble HVAC components—including coils and copper pieces—and perform clean, consistent brazes on copper. You double-check dimensions with a tape measure, verify quality, and keep safety top of mind as you collaborate with a supportive team.
Pay- 1st Shift – $17.72/hr
- 2nd Shift – $17.72/hr + $1 shift differential ($18.72/hr)
- 1st Shift Fabrication – Monday–Thursday, 5:30am–4:00pm
- 2nd Shift Fabrication – Monday–Thursday, 4:00pm–2:30am
- Overtime Friday/Saturday is possible during peak seasons.
- Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using press brakes, shears, and CNC machines
- Assemble HVAC components, including coils and copper parts
- Braze copper components with precision
- Read blueprints and take accurate measurements with a tape measure
- Inspect finished parts and follow safety guidelines
- Fabrication or sheet metal experience, or transferable mechanical skills
- Manufacturing fabrication experience highly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions in English
- Experience with hand tools and metalworking equipment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Stable work history highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
