Position: Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

Location: Lynnwood, WA

Shift Details

Schedule: 4x9.5-Hour Shifts (07:45 AM - 05:15 PM)

Monday: 08:15 AM - 05:15 PM
Tuesday: 07:45 AM - 05:15 PM
Wednesday: 08:15 AM - 05:45 PM
Friday: 07:45 AM - 05:15 PM
Days Off: Thursday and weekends

Position Overview

This position requires a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) certification. Candidates with Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R), Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P), or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT) certifications will not be considered. This opportunity is available to both local and non-local candidates within Washington state.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical support in an outpatient primary care setting.
Assist with administering medications and procedures as needed.
Perform vital sign checks, rooming of patients, and recording of patient histories.
Prepare and maintain charts and documentation in the EPIC charting system.
Assist with patient follow-up calls and scheduling appointments.
Potentially float to Canyon Park Clinic or Woodinville Clinic as needed after initial weeks.

Qualifications

Must possess a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) certification.
Preferred: 6 months of experience as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic, with a preference for cardiology experience.
First-time applicants are welcome.
Reliable transportation is required, as public transportation is not available for this role.

Clinic Highlights

Type of Facility: Outpatient Clinic with a focus on Primary Care.
Attire: Scrubs will be provided.
Charting System: Experience with EPIC is preferred.

Additional Information

Position requires flexibility for potential floating between clinics.
Travelers must be open to varying assignments within the clinic.
Must be willing to commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
