Position: Auto Painter

Location: Cookeville TN

Pay: $17.10 per hour

Shift: 3:00 Pm to 1:30 AM, Mon-Thurs

Job Description: Are you skilled in the art of automotive painting? We're seeking talented individuals to join our team as Auto Painters at our facility in Cookeville Tn. In this role, you'll be responsible for applying paint and finishes to vehicles, ensuring a flawless appearance and quality finish.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Mix paint to match specified colors and finishes according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns and other painting equipment.
• Monitor paint application for consistency, coverage, and adherence to quality standards.
• Perform touch-ups and repairs to correct imperfections and defects in painted surfaces.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain painting equipment and tools in good condition and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an auto painter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in mixing and applying automotive paint products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for handling painting materials and equipment.
