Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Coeur is actively seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to be based at our headquarters in Chicago. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, this highly visible role will provide leadership across Coeur's enterprise financial planning and analysis activities and serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership and operating teams.

The Senior Manager will lead key planning, forecasting, financial modeling and performance management activities across the organization, translating operational and financial results into actionable insights that support executive decision-making. The role will also provide financial leadership for strategic initiatives, capital allocation, growth opportunities, due diligence and business development activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the enterprise FP&A cadence, including monthly performance reviews, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and life-of-mine planning, consolidating site and corporate results and translating performance, risks and opportunities into actionable insights for senior and executive leadership.
• Providing leadership and strategic direction across financial planning and analysis, establishing consistent planning methodologies, challenging key assumptions and ensuring financial models and forecasts effectively support business and capital-allocation decisions.
• Serving as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership and operating teams, connecting operational performance and key business drivers to financial outcomes and influencing decisions related to profitability, productivity, cost management and long-term value creation.
• Leading executive and Board-level financial analysis and reporting, including dashboards, scenario analyses and strategic presentations that clearly communicate business performance, emerging risks, opportunities and expected returns.
• Partnering closely with Operations, Mine Planning, Corporate Development and Investor Relations to evaluate business performance, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve operating and financial results across Coeur's portfolio.
• Leading financial evaluation and due diligence for strategic investments, including growth projects, joint ventures and potential M&A opportunities. Developing valuation and scenario models, sensitivity analyses, investment recommendations and post-investment performance assessments.
• Providing financial leadership for capital planning and allocation, evaluating sustaining and growth capital investments using appropriate financial and operational metrics, including NAV, IRR, ROIC and cash-flow impacts.
• Leading and developing FP&A talent, providing coaching, direction and technical guidance while establishing high standards for financial analysis, business partnership and executive communication.
• Championing the continued evolution of Coeur's FP&A capabilities, driving automation, standardization, advanced analytics and improvements to planning systems, reporting and processes to increase efficiency, forecast accuracy and data integrity.
• Leading complex financial and strategic projects and site reviews, working across functions and operating locations while ensuring appropriate financial discipline, governance, internal controls and compliance with corporate policies.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; MBA, CPA, CMA or CFA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance or a related field, with demonstrated experience operating in a leadership capacity. Mining, natural resources, investment banking or another capital-intensive industry strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing finance professionals and providing direction across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Significant experience leading annual budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, management reporting and complex financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of mining or capital-intensive business economics, including operating cost drivers, sustaining and growth capital, cash flow, NAV, IRR and ROIC.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and business partners through financial analysis, sound judgment and clear recommendations.
• Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and/or Boards of Directors.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with enterprise planning platforms such as Oracle/Hyperion and BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of income statements, cash flow statements and balance sheets, with the ability to connect operational performance to enterprise financial results.
• Experience evaluating strategic investments, growth projects, acquisitions or other business development opportunities strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success improving FP&A processes, systems, reporting and analytics through automation and standardization.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear business narratives.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and accountability.

The salary range offered for this role is $160,000 - $170,000 USD. The salary range is a good-faith estimate. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
