Prep Cook
Join the team at Hilton Mystic as a Prep Cook, where you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality ingredients and assisting with the smooth operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring according to recipes and standards
- Assist chefs in ensuring all food items are ready for cooking and serving in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace and equipment
- Follow food safety standards and protocols to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
