Team Lead

The Position

The Night Team Lead / Night Manager is responsible for running evening service, directing and training the night team, maintaining food and service standards, and closing the store properly each night.

The person in this role must be comfortable stepping into every station and solving problems as they arise. They will also help ensure that the restaurant remains fully operational through its advertised 11:00 p.m. closing time and may help us further develop our evening beverage and bar service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the night team and run evening service independently
• Assign work, maintain the pace of service, and keep the team focused
• Ensure that food, drinks, cleanliness, and customer service meet our standards
• Bake manousheh consistently and work the line during rushes or coverage gaps
• Operate the cash register and provide friendly, efficient customer service
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks
• Handle shift cash-out and complete closing paperwork accurately
• Complete restocking, cleaning, and closing checklists
• Assist with inventory management and communicate shortages or operational issues
• Keep the kitchen, bar, service area, and customer areas clean and organized
• Wash dishes and perform cleaning duties when needed
• Address customer or staff issues calmly and professionally
• Make sure the store does not close before its advertised closing time
• Lead by example and assist with anything the shift requires

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience
• Confidence preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience leading, supervising, or training a restaurant shift or team
• Reliable availability for night shifts
• Able and willing to bake manousheh, work the food line, run the register, serve customers, and clean
• Strong cash-handling and customer-service skills
• Calm, organized, and decisive under pressure
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Able to maintain consistent standards throughout the shift
• A genuine all-hands attitude—nothing is beneath you, and there is no “that’s not my job”
• Familiarity with Lebanese or Middle Eastern food/language is a plus, but not required

Schedule

This is a night-shift position and includes responsibility for closing the restaurant.

Expected schedule: 5 days, including weekends

Position type: Full-time

Weekend and holiday availability may be required depending on the final schedule.

Compensation

Pay range:  $20-$22/hr starting, depending on experience

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the shift and can be trusted to keep the restaurant operating properly at night. The right candidate is a strong team leader but is equally comfortable jumping onto the line, baking an order, serving a drink, helping a customer, washing dishes, or cleaning the store.

Reliability, leadership, and willingness to do the work alongside the team are essential.
