Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cath Lab staff member in Richmond, Virginia. The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting the cardiac catheterization laboratory's various procedures. This role involves working within a fast-paced, high-volume interventional cardiac cath lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, Impella, balloon-pump, peripheral cases, and complex percutaneous coronary interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Richmond, Virginia
• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN, Radiologic Technologist (RT), or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification; current license; experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab; experience handling complex cases in a high-volume lab; working knowledge of Meditech electronic medical record system
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high-volume lab handling complex cases
• Additional Information: Unit Information includes 3 cath labs with 10-11 staff members per day, consisting of registered nurses and cardiovascular technologists. The position may involve some on-call responsibilities during weekends and weekdays. Expectations include adherence to professional conduct, patient safety, and reporting within 30 minutes of callback.
