This position involves delivering high-quality care to emergency patients within a busy trauma and stroke-certified facility. It requires a dedicated professional with critical thinking skills and leadership abilities to ensure patient safety and effective care. Job Details Position Description: The registered nurse is responsible for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe patient care, maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities appropriately, and providing supervision to assigned personnel. Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), with a valid state license in Arizona, and at least 2 years of ER nursing experience. Experience with Cerner electronic health record preferred. Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week with a 12-hour shift length. Preferred Qualifications: Charge Nurse experience is a plus, with an additional $3/hour offered for such experience. Additional Information: The position requires willingness to float and supports a Trauma Level III and Stroke Receiving facility. Starting within 2 weeks of offer acceptance is preferred.
