The candidate will be working closely with senior members of the Healthcare Group with opportunities to gain exposure to both sell side and buy side advisory as well as underwriting and placing equity and debt offerings for public and privately held companies.Responsibilities:Preparing client presentations, drafting offering memoranda, preparing internal committee memoranda, preparing management and board presentations and other materials for senior bankers as requiredTransaction execution involving direct client interaction and communicationManaging client due diligence processesConducting extensive financial modeling and valuationAssessing industry research and trendsLiaise with both internal and external parties (including corporate issuers, financial sponsors, legal counsel, among others) to expand corporate relationships and drive day-to-day deal processReview and oversee development of financial models, valuation analyses, researchQualifications:At least 2 years of experience in investment banking, primarily Healthcare relatedStrong Microsoft Excel skills essentialStrong verbal and written communication skillsElevated attention to detail and consistency in work product Strong work ethic and team playerOrganized and proactive Dealogic, CapIQ, Bloomberg and MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferredFINRA Registrations: Series 63, 79 licenses and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam required at time of hiring or shortly thereafterCompensation:For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 at the time of this posting.
