About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for IT Finance and Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, administering, and directing all business and administrative matters within the department, including budget, operations, programs, and personnel administration. This leadership role involves providing financial analysis, strategic planning, and overseeing budgetary controls in partnership with various levels of management. The Executive Director will also be tasked with formulating and ensuring adherence to the department's annual budget, advancing the strategic financial plan, and making recommendations to senior management. Additionally, the role includes overseeing all expenditures, creating and managing support systems, and monitoring contractual obligations to ensure consistency with departmental goals. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience. The role requires strong financial stewardship, business operations, and strategic planning expertise, as well as the ability to influence decisions, build relationships, and drive organizational outcomes. Experience with Workday is preferred, as is a background in supporting technology organizations or technology-enabled business operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in budgeting, forecasting, organizational planning, and operational improvement, and experience in higher education, research, healthcare, or similarly complex organizations. The role demands exceptional communication, leadership skills, and the ability to manage a budget effectively.
