Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time
Eastern Star Home and Campus | Oriskany, NY
$27–$32/hour | Full-Time | Benefits

Post Rehab is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become part of the therapy team at Eastern Star Home and Campus. Work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on treatment that helps residents improve mobility, build strength, and make meaningful progress toward their rehabilitation goals.

What You'll Do

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait, balance, transfer, endurance, and mobility activities
• Follow established plans of care based on individualized resident goals
• Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with therapy, nursing, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Active New York PTA license required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply
