Volt is immediately hiring for Phlebotomist II in Portland, ME. Shift Timing: (Part-time role) 2 hours a day 7 days a week 8am-10am. This is a Part-time 3 months contract opportunity. Note: Vaccine required - MMR/Varicella/TB/Drug Screen/Color Vision.

As a phlebotomist you will:

• Drawing mostly on all ages.
• Working as a team will need pedi and geri drawing experience.
• Will be drawing anywhere from 25 to 35 patients a day at this location...
• Detail oriented and good experience.
• Data Entry and processing.
• Must have at least 2-4 years of phlebotomy experience, proficient in using both straight and butterfly needles.
• Perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Blood Draws
• Venipuncture

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years of experience.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Working with hard sticks
