Job Title: General Laborer Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling containers using various tools and must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

• Assemble containers using hand tools such as hammers and screwdrivers.
• Lift and maneuver items weighing over 50 lbs.
• Utilize a tape measure for accurate measurements.
• Collaborate with a team of 5 to ensure proper assembly of containers.
• Follow detailed instructions and directions for container assembly.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by assembling and disassembling components.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements.
• Experience in construction, framing, and general production.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude for assembly and disassembly tasks.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs continuously.

• Steel Toed Boots are mandatory.

Work in a large warehouse that is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Candidates will work in a team of 5 to assemble containers. Note that attendance is crucial, and missing a day could lead to termination while on contract. Steel Toed Boots are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harvey, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
